한글학교:

저희 뉴저지 연합 장로 교회에서는 한국문화 교육에 관심이 있는 어린이들과
어른들을 위한 한글 교육을 시작하게되어 하나님께 무한히 감사 드립니다.  
KUPC congregation thanks to the Lord for us to re-open Korean school for the adults and children who
are interested in Korean culture education.
지나간 43년의 교회 역사를 통하여 항상 한글 학교가 이어져 왔고 이제 지난
몇년간의  공백을 극복하고 새로이 시작하게 되었습니다.
During the past 43 years of the church history, Korean culture and language had been taught except last
few years. We could reopen the Korean classes since Spring, 2017.
손정모 담임 목사님의 비전에따라  2018년 새로이 시작하는 문화학교의  중요한 부분인 한국어 교육은
이제 새롭게 단장한 교육관으로 여러분을 초대합니다.
Senior Pastor Rev. Son and the church members cordially invite you to our Korean class at the newly
equipped education building. 
 

2017년 4월부터 한글반이 시작되었고, 8월 마지막 주에 열렸던 여름 문화 캠프를
통하여 한글 문화와 한글 교육에대한 절실한 요구와 관심을 확신하게 되었습니다.
 The Korean classes started on April, 2017 and the Summer Korean culture camp on the last week of
Aug., 2017 brought a strong attention that we were expected to give Korean cultural education in the
community.
 
한글 교실은 주일학교 어린이들뿐아니라 한국 문화와 언어에 관심이 있는 인근 지역
주민들도 다 포함합니다. 교회 근처에 살고있는 한국인 입양아들, 그를 키우는
부모님들 그리고 2세 3세로 한류 문화와 한글 교육에 관심있는 성인들을 위한 반도
지난 10월부터 시작되었습니다.
Not only KUPC Sunday school children but the community people who are interested in Korean culture
and the language are included. We welcome Korean children adopted to American families, their parents
and also second, third generations of Korean Americans. In fact, we started adult Korean class since
October, 2017.

 
한국 문화와 정체성 함양에 의지가 있는 한인 부모님들과 조부모님들의 많은성원을 기대합니다.
이곳에서 태어난 후세들에게 한국계 미국인으로서 의젓하고 당당한 한국인의
얼을 심어주고 더 나아가서 주류사회에서 다양성을 수용하며 자신의 고유성을
지키는 성숙한 지도자로 키우기를 소망합니다. 
We expect positive support from the Korean grandparents as well as parents who have willingness in
Korean education and identity formation for their descendants.
We strongly believe that the Korean American children grown with their unique identity would become
mature leaders who also understand the diversity in the main stream of our society.
 
이런 교육을 통하여 지역사회에 기여하며예수님의 사랑을 널리 전하는 교량역할을 우리 뉴저지 연합 장로 
교회가 잘 감당하기를 원합니다. 주 안에서 감사드립니다. 
Through this culture education we want to reach out to the community near the church and spread the
love of Jesus Christ!
We wish to take a responsible role for God‘s calling throughout the community.
